Falling Into Place

Sometimes when things come by surprise it is more meaningful, it is more appreciated. Just when my attention is diverted in dust and drilling, love is thrown into the picture by a sparkling device. There is only One person to thank for all that makes me smile in my life, there is only One person who can make it all good.

To give an update, the renovations are almost complete and we are engaged. There can never be a better scene :) Now I have something besides decorating the flat to talk about and here will be my ground for sharing.

My heart was pounding when the glaring christmas lights reveal a ring but it is not until our parents give it the seal then we could unzip our uncontrolling desire to share the joy with people who love us. So the trip of proposal to KL had to take place over the Christmas weekend, making it all uber special. The 3.5 hours drive did nothing to dampen our spirits, some commented we can now survive on air alone.

Daddy & Mummy said marriage is not just about love, it is much about compromise, give and take.. Those words I will keep it in my heart always. I can't help but feel the love from my family, and there was no vow in the beginning to love me so but they did unconditionally.

Now is the New Year, there will be no resolutions for me because I know it will turn out blessed and good. There will be scratches and bumps along the way but like I said, it is not the outcome but the process of it that counts - through it all, I pray we all grow closer and stronger till the end.

What a sappy post for the first day of 2010. Cheers to you, all the best!
